I remember the very first yoga class that I ever took. I left there feeling like I have never felt before. For many years, I felt like a rat in a wheel going through the motions of life. Yoga brought a personal connection that I have missed for so long. From that moment, I knew I wanted to teach yoga and offer this same opportunity to people each day.
That was over 10 years ago when I obtained my Registered Yoga Teacher’s certification (RYT) through Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy. After spending a great deal of time in workshops at Kripalu, and other teachers I admired like Seane Corn, Desiree Rumbaugh, Rolf Gates, Giselle Mari and many, many others, I have learned to live yoga rather than just teach. Ultimately, it is about the union we have with ourselves, the people we interact with daily, our soul and creator.
I felt the desire to expand my practice and share the love of yoga with today’s youth. In January 2010, myself, along with my business partners, opened Youth Yoga School and completed our certification as a Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher (RCYT) and Experienced Yoga Teacher(E-RYT). This is a school designed to teach yoga teachers, fitness professionals and other child focused professionals how to bring yoga into everyday life using the whole child approach.
Today, I enjoy teaching several times a week to continue on the self exploration path and offer that same opportunity to students.

For over 3 years of studying Phoenix Rising Yoga Thereapy, I have learned that our bodies are our best teachers! We come to our mats, face daily life (joy and struggles), and embrace our souls. If you are interested in scheduling a private PRYT Session with me, let me know! Contact me.
“I had always admired but was afraid of yoga. I thought that I had to be super limber to show up for a class. Experiencing Stacey as an instructor immediately put me at ease. She is an extraordinary teacher, who is able to help me adjust poses at my level. Poses that seemed impossible and confusing before, I can now participate in at my level. Because she is such an accommodating and talented instructor, Stacey is able to have beginners and advanced yoga practitioners in the same class. It is truly a joy to be in her presence.”
Susan Hyatt, Master Certified Life Coach www.ideallifedesign.com“I attended a retreat Stacey produced and had the pleasure of experiencing my first yoga class…it was amazing! I was a bit apprehensive about a yoga retreat since I had never even been to a yoga class. Stacey put me at ease and was a true expert at making all levels feel comfortable and confident to truly experience yoga. The major results for me were complete stress reduction and a connection with my body I had not experienced from exercise. Thanks you for sharing your gifts with your community.” June 3, 2010 Kimberly Delcoco

Thai Yoga Massage
The art of Thai Massage is a practice that has been with the Thai people for over two thousand years. Today, it is finding popularity throughout Thailand and other countries.
Thai Yoga Massage utilizes the principles of the Northern Style Thai Massage where stretching, compressing, specific pressure point work are utilized to relax and enhance the range of motion in the body. It flows with precision and is an extremely effective practice to rebalance, recharge, and restore your body. My philosophy is that our bodies are our best teachers. I utilize my training with Thai Yoga Massage to allow clients to experience deep relaxation.
